The Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a timed test aimed at determining a person’s capabilities in various subjects. A requirement for anyone planning on joining the military, this is one of the critical components to be considered prior to even starting the enlistment process. The test is comprised of four parts: Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Mathematics Knowledge.

For most of us, this test is no joke. It’s a serious matter, since it determines what jobs you may or may not qualify for while in the military. Essentially, the better you score, the more jobs you have to choose from. With most people, it will require study, focus, and serious determination not only to pass, but to pass well.  Needless to say, every minute studied will be worth your while, financially or otherwise!
